Jamie Gold
Jamie Gold was a television producer from Malibu, California. Playing his first ever World Series of Poker Main Event, in 2006 he emerged the champion, taking home over $12 million in prize money.
Gold became the chip leader on Day 4 of the Main Event and cruised to victory, leading the entire rest of the tournament as he steamrolled over player after player with his mountain of chips. Gold’s victory came over the largest field ever in WSOP Main Event history, earning him the biggest payday in the history of tournament poker.
