Adding to the list of existing rules that have been discussed earlier, here are a few more to give you a better idea about the rules followed in WSOP tournaments. Familiarize yourself with them and you will have a better performance than you expect.

1. Never hide a chip from you competitors. Make sure that all the chips are visible during the game and in case if a player is found to have chips in their pockets or hidden, the player will have to forfeit the chips. The forfeited chips will be taken out of the play.

2. During flop games players will be moved from big blind to the worst position.

3. Limit events have a cap on the raise and the limit will be house limit. Once the tournament gets into heads up, the rule cease to exist.

4. In Stud events, in case of two cards of a player is show then it’s considered dealer error and the deal would become a misdeal.

5. In case the dealer kills an unprotected hand, the player will have no option to object and will not be entitled to his money be returned. Immunity would be if a player raised and the raise is not called yet, in this case he would be entitled to receive his raise back.

6. Dealers are not allowed to kill a winning hand that was turned face up and was obviously the winning hand.

7. Any disputes are handled by the management and usually the management reserves the right to cancel or amend any event at its sole discretion. This would ideally be in the best interest of the game.

The official World Series of Poker rules cover issues pertaining to actual poker hands and also outlines the registration, the entry procedures, tournament scheduling, player conduct, legal issues, and prizing and seating matters.
