WSOP – Rio Suites Hotel

The richest and most prestigious poker tournaments in the world which took place in Rio All Suites Hotel and Casino this year had a record number of participants and the largest total prize pool in the World Series of Poker so far. Seven World Cup events this year was added to the series and for the first time several variations of the game was included in World Championship.

The first of 55 events which started on May 30 with a little help from Rio Show Girls from UNLV marching band, and Doyle Brunson microphone action began with the famous words “shuffle and deal.”

For the first time in the history of the WSOP, the most important event was put to stop playing after the final table which was in the early hours of July 15. Only hours after the last part was considered ESPN aired the main event final table in a specially produced for television on November 11.

The WSOP is unmatched by any other poker event in the world today and to win a bracelet is considered by many the ultimate success. With more history and mystery than any other tournament in WSOP attracts participants from around the world. This certainly was the case in 2008 as many international players won the bracelets. Like many others who discussed in the community blog, 2008 could be the Year of Pro.

Long-time fan favorites like Mike the mouth Matusow, Daniel Kid Poker negreanu and JC Trun. All have bracelets to add to their tournament trophy cases. Erick E -Dog Lindgren could overcome WSOP bracelet drought and take home his first WSOP bracelet. And Scotty “Prince of Poker” Nguyen spent his 2007 main event core melting capacity as motivation to continue in the presence of the $ 50k HORSE event to take home as many as a true champion of bracelets.

In 2007, Jerry the “shadow” by Jan Temecula, California defeated 6358 players, including second place finishers Tu?n Lam of the cooker, Ontario to win the main event. WSOP has been a part of a comprehensive database tournament.
